Looks like a nice M1915 Prussian pickelhaube. It needs, of course, a chinstrap, and cockades, repros of which are easily found. As to originals...??

Thanks Bob. I'm glad that it's an original. Yes it's incomplete! I've found an original cockade for $40 and the chin straps are about $100+

I might finish it off with repros though. Where is the best place to buy repro imperial helmet parts?

I'm not sure where the best place is for repro parts, but I have noticed that Ebay Germany has quite a few repro (and some original) cockades, and occasionally, a chinstrap. The cockades are usually always for sale; look under militaria 1871-1918. Good luck.
