How are you? I'm not a big time fan of WW I items but have a few keepers that I greatly admire as this helmet. I don't know how to distiguish from M-16/17/18 charactaristics. If anyone would be so kind, what model is this helmet. I can send better pictures if desired

M16 has a leather liner and lugs for a chinstrap . M17 has a metal liner and lugs for the chinstrap and the m18 has a metal liner with bales for a chinstrap I think . Yours looks nice though I am not sure about the liner they look new . Rob

I agree, liner pads and drawstring appear to be new. I think we have discussed this helmet sometime in the past.
