    A 1916 with quite a Different Twist

This belongs to a friend. He picked it up some time ago in a collection here in Virginia. I've never seen anything like it.

Neither the current owner nor I know who did it or when. I would guess in the eighties based on the figures used which I would guess are HO scale

I have not used the word "cool" since the 60's... I love it! Someone did a fantastic job, with great attention to detail.

Chuck, my one word response as well when I first spotted it in my friend's basement. "Cool".

                    Not everybody will like it....

But no doubt, an invention that I have never seen before!

Very Artistic! No doubt it's a "one of a kind".

Fantastic what a great thing to do to a shell ( though no doubt the liner was ripped out and slung in the trash) . Rob

                            very original, I like it

what do you think about the name in the back? original to the helmet, or has it something to do with the scale figures?

The name is "Nawrocki" and absolutely original to the helmet.
