    A case of Imperial Items

Hello These came in a old collection I bought. It's going to take some research to figure out what everything is. Kirby

That's quite a collection. I do not know anything about gorgets
                  but it does look impressive.

I can help with the Frack chain. The awards on it are the Bavarian
King Kudwig cross and the Prussian merit cross for war aid.

The buttonhole award with ribbons--The awards are the Hindenberg
cross for combatents, The Brunswick war merit cross and the Prussian
                  Iron cross.

I'm afraid that's all I can help with.

The two crosses hanging under the Gorget look like War merit crosses. I have one with a ribbon.

Rest of it I don't know what is what.

The top row of items are Nazi era Winter Hilfs Werke pins, sold as a fund raisers for this assistance league.

The buttons are mostly German. I see one French one and possibley an Austrian one on the right.

The shoulder boards are those of a Reichs official, though I am not sure in what service (Colonial, occupied territories, etc.).

I believe the gorget is that of a post WWI veteran's group.

I think the gorget is for a Landwehr regiment. (similar to a National guard
or reserve) The cross device is the same cross used on the Landehr cap badges.

The first Prussian Landwehr unit was formed on March 17 1813

Also seen on Landwehr Pickelhaube. After doing a forum search I found
this example of a Landwehr cross on a Pickelhaulbe belonging to our
                              own Tony (Tony and Kaiser)
