    Pickelhaube ID help please

    Here are some photos of a M1895 pickelhaube that a friend of mine has for sale. To me it looks like an enlisted that an officer chin scale was added to. As I understand some enlisted pickelhaubes were worn with chin scales for certain occasions. However I believe they were the removable type, whereas this is permanently fixed.
    Please let me know what you think.
