    Thanks for the photos. I was aware that it was a WWI machine gun insignia and that it was worn on the hat at that time. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. That is one of the reasons I suggested your insignia is post WWI. Also why I suggested that it could have been worn post WWI in a diamond shaped badge on the left arm. No new information to pass on. I'll let you know if I find anything new.
