A Caution to the Imperialites

This seller has been selling FAKE pilot badges for quite a few years now. used to sell through Troy's Stamps & Coins, same location. The recent article in Military Trader, riddled with innaccurate statements regarding badge marks, is now directly referenced in this fellow's listings. Need I say more regarding what is correct, and what is not, on markings?

I like the pretzel as an addition to the top of the wreath. It gives the badge a nice "German" feel to it without that politically incorrect Imperial crown.
This would be a great addition to any collectors collection. I plan on bidding up to 5,000,00.00 pretzels for this baby....... yum

The scary thing is this guy actually has a high feedback rating, think of the countless fools that have bought this $20 junk and are happy with it. I certainty wouldn’t touch any of those flight badges with a 40 foot poll.

Hmmmm

Actually the crown/moon mark was instituted much later than 1870. This merits more discussion.
