EK II 1914 HUW, 935 Silver

Like to show my new acquisition. A very rare cross with several marks, 935 silver mark in the big ring. In the small ring HUW mark* & mark for silver medals imported to Austria, the hallmark winged A. There is also an other mark triangle, but I cannot decipher this.

*Maker marked HUW - Erste Osterreichisch-Ungarische Metallknopfe- und Metallwaren-Fabrik Heinrich Ulbricht's Witwe, Wien XIII/2.

IMO an imported blue cored Zimmerman, so called "Pumpkin crown".

    Hope you like it too

              Nice find.
I agree, a pumpkin crown Zimmerman. Very rare stamp.
I wish we knew the story behind the maker's mark.
(of coarse I wish that about several different makers )

Yes, there is still a lot to discover. But this takes time and forums like this, to share finds for investigations and discussions. That´s also with pictures, they are an important source for investigation on forums. I mean real pictures..............not photo links

I noticed that al lot of the blue cored and Pumpkin Zimmermann crosses comes from Austria. This came on a 40 mm ribbon. These ribbons are been used for the triangle /dreieck Austrian EK II 1914 mountings.
