The last type of Bavarian Military Merit Cross, 3. Class with swords. Made from one piece zinc. Swords are soldered to the cross and made from iron. With case makers marked "Weiss & Co. Ordenfabrik München Herrnstr. 44a".

Did you ever see or have a MVK 3. Kl. mit Kronen u. Schwertern, zinc late version? That must be rare! Since one year I have been looking for this one.

Some weeks (or months) ago I saw one, maybe by Jörg Kalies but I am not sure. They are extremely rare!

Another Imperial Quirk! The war-metal version of this medal is not very attractive, and most collecters pass it by, but it is especially hard to find, complete and boxed, or the highest grade with crown and swords!
