Yes, please. I don't have any clue of what to look to recognize an original...
          Thank you!!

Why not use the search function once in a while before you post Gary? There are plenty of threads on these.

Well Don as a matter of fact I have extensively researched this data.

And I believe the badge you posted showing the tank going over a human head in the lower left is a different maker than the badge in issue.

Since the 1921 tank badge was never a government issue and was a private purchase, I cannot agree that the tank badge in question is a fake.

              There were several makers.

I'm with Don. Not only is it a fake but it is an awful cast fake with very soft details.

I've seen this exact type show up on Ebay frequently

Of course a casting is the kiss of death.

Maybe my eyes are getting dim, but I cannot see the casting pits.

Could you please point out where they are?

Here are examples of the 1921 tank badge rolling over a debris field without a human head.

This is the same style as the one in issue.

Obviously a different die, different maker, than the example posted by Don.

The badge shown in that thread, including mine, cannot be compared to the badge in this thread. This type appears on ebay constantly.
As a side note I would be willing to part with my AWS marked badge shown in the thread that Gary linked above.

A good cast does not necessarily have pit marks. It's too soft to be die struck. Maybe die cast?

agree. This is the type on eBay practically every week.

Not to whip the dead horse, here is Weitze's example, with the no head in the debris field.

Comparing this with Mighty Robert's example, the reverse hardware is different, but looking at the obverse, I would ask in good faith for opinions on the differences between the two.
