Please help identify maker mark on EK2

Hello,
Recently I have the chance to recover my grand-father EK2.
It's in very good conditions, and with a clearly marked ring (for a ww1 ek2 )
Unfortunately, the mark is clear, but I cannot find what are the letters.

For me it's an "A" with something before. Perhaps you should see better than me ?

Second Letter : "A" (according to me)


First Letter : "?", you can see the "A" just below, so I presume it's the first letter.

Please share the cross in order to see the frame and core. That might give us better ideas

Additionnaly it is a 3 piece construction and the core is magnetic.
