A couple of reasons that I can think of are, lack of detail in the foreground and the cloud bursts/artillery bursts in the sky should not look like a bunch of balloons on strings.

Here is an example posted by Robin Lumsden which appears to be identical to the badge deemed a fake.

Don made it very clear this was an original 1921 Tank Badge. See Post 10.

Maybe a member with the computer skills I lack, could show a side by side split screen and make the usual circles and arrows to show how the fake is different from Robin Lumsden’s silver 1921 Tank Badge?

The first one is the one posted by Robin Lumsden, which is the same as the one posted by Don in the previous post. The second one is the one originally posted on this thread.
