New Member needs opinion on observer badge

Hello, New to the Forum.
I'm not an experienced German collector. I picked up a few Items recently and a friend recommended I join and post pictures to get the real experts opinions. First is an Imperial Air Force Observer Badge. It's in a CE Junckers Box. I know there are a lot of really nice fakes out there and I usually avoid German stuff from people I don't know. I took a chance knowing nothing. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Hi, I am thinking that this is more than likely a copy, eBay is rife with them at present in observer and pilot form !

I would agree. In the absence of close-up photos I would still believe that this a copy.

There seems to be more copies of the cliche' style badge coming out.
