    Unit Marking (?) on S84/98 bayo

    Hi. Can anyone decipher this unit markingon my 1917 S84/98 bayo? IS it imperial at all? Strange positioning for such a stamp...

    It's not a typical imperial German military marking.

      I know. It is not a recent phantasy though as it was hidden under a thick layer of old black paint
