Bavarian Major's Awards

I have a tunic of an officer in the Bayern Chevaulegers regiment. I want to add a medal bar to the display. The unifrom is circa 1895-1900. Can anyone tell me what a medals for a Bayern Major in the above regiment should have on it?

Which regiment? What are the loops on it (measurements)? THAT senior, given how few of the rank were in each regiment, it may be possible to ID him from the empty loops if, say, 1 Major had 4 awards, 1 had 2, and one had 8.

I don't have MHBs that far back, but usually only two, sometimes three, that rank per regiment.

There are not any loops on the tunic and it is not named. I would like to get a ribbon bar or medal bar for display purposes. The regiment is the 4th.
