Iron Cross 1914 First Class Opinions?

Hi all, I recently won this at auction from emedals..my first Iron Cross purchase in quite a few years, it looks like a late war production one to me based on it's brass and slightly wonky central core but any info would be much appreciated!

IMO a nice Deumer from around 1930>

      I agree. It's a post war Deumer.
Having the brass show through on the high points really makes for some
      nice contrast on these crosses.

Why are the year "1914" and the letter "W" and the crown all crooked?

There is also a larger distance between the crown and the frame on the left side than there is on the right.

It seems like the brass core shifted within the frame in some way.

It's not uncommon to see a core that is loose in the frame.

I wondered too about the crooked core, but after examining pics of many 1914 Iron Crosses I realised it's a pretty common occurrence and that this particular cross was still worth a bid.
