    Please Help

    Hello Fellow Members,

Does anyone know what this small ribbon badge denotes/represents.? It is like an oversized pin-back ribbon. Any information would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dave.

That is a Prussian Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung 2. Class. Basically a long-service decoration for the reserve troops. It used to be the only class but became the 2. Class in 1868 when the 1. Class cross was introduced.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

Many Thanks!! Would this have been worn strictly on civilian attire, or military as well? This was in a grouping which belonged to an officer who had seen service in both WWI and WWII. Could this have been his? Or another, older perhaps, family member?

        It is a Military one.

We are talking about soldiers, NCO's and officers over 30 years old already latest 1918, so i looks like this person would have been over 50 years old when the WW2 started, so it looks like the WW2 things may have belonged to another member of his family, or it was just a made up Lot with plenty of different things

Actually the grouping which contains this decoration ribbon belonged to an individual who was a young Lieutenant in WWI and an older field grade officer in WWII.
