No Worries Gerd. Was all a drop in the bucket I have to post more of the doc..there are 2 sides with diff signatures.Iam trying to reads the old schrift and it seems the hotel owner wrote the list of names as part of the display,,the little brownish feldpost card has the actual signatures,,Ill look closer later,,have to hit the markets.

That's quite the list of signatures, looks like Metternich (a descendant of the famous Napoleonic era statesman?) and von Tiesenhausen (a relation of the CO of U-331 and KC recipient?).

Yes, of course. Need a date and some tie to a Division. There were three Generals von Etzel, my grandfather and his two brothers. Would need to see clear shots of signature to narrow it down to two out of three.

I'll try to figure out which von Etzel. I don't think this document has any value other than to someone like me trying to figure out why all these guys were together. Were they in the same Division, etc? Since this thread was a call to Rick aka Stoogieman maybe he'll confirm the value and you'll take it out of the frame and get a real photo...
