    Help ID EK1 Recipient?

Can someone help me with identification? I am looking for information (full name, ranks, etc.) on a Graf v. Bredow who earned the EK1 on December 20, 1914. I've searched the internet, but found that there may be more than one Graf Bredow. A list of PLM winners includes a Graf v. Bredow, and there was a Graf v. Bredow someohow involved in some investigations during the Third Reich. The "other" Bredow was killed in 1917.

In other words, was there a Graf Bredow awarded the EK1 on 20.12.14 and who was he? Thanks.

In the 1912 ranklist there are listed:

    1) a General Major, commander of 79. Inf.Brigade, awarded RAO2 and oakleaves, KO2, 25-years LS, AB2b, HP2b, MK3
    2) a Major adj. to 2nd Garde Division, RAO4, KO4, JM5

and another 13 officers of lower ranks (Hauptmann, Rittmeister, etc)

Thanks. Any way to determine which of those Bredows earned the EK1 on 20.12.14? I believe this Graf Bredow was only a Rittmeister when he got it. I'm trying to verify some engraving on an EK and then do further research on the man. I don't have the reference material at hand. Any ideas?

And the other, Wolf Graf von Bredow in the Garde-Dragoner-Regiment (1. Großherzoglich Hessisches) Nr. 23. Survived the war and retired as a Rittmeister aD.

              Glenn,
Thanks very much for your time on this. It's a great help. I have an EK1 engraved Graf v. Bredow 20.12.14 Is there a way to confirm that the first Bredow on your list (Dragoner No. 4, killed as a Major in 1917) earned the EK1 on that date? Thanks.

Oops, Glenn is right. I checked only the v. Bredow's.
