8 Placer Ribbon Bar - China Service

Got this nice 8 Placer ribbon bar together with a couple other ribbon bars.

So far this is my largest ribbon bar.

What do you think guys? Any guess what rank / unit the original owner had?

Very nice original ribbon bar. I would guess an NCO type bar. The two blue ribbons could be for 15 Yr and 9 Yr Prussian long service medals.

    Kind regards
    Pierce

+1 Would guess a senior (both in age and rank) NCO. A NCO as that third ribbon is for the medal of the Red Eagle, if I am not mistaken, while an officer would have had a higher grade of that order.

        Thanks guys

I would say the 4th ribbon belongs to the crown order since it's a different shade of blue.

That's what i'm thinking too. Could it be red eagle and kronenorden medals on 3rd and 4th places. I assume they are not officer's orders, as those would be before ww1 war effort cross?

And not to forget - a very nice long bar!

            Thanks Valter.

I realy like this bar and you don't come across those long ones very often.
