Order of the Black Eagle - orig. statute book

Hello. Today I'd like to something pretty rare.

During the last couple of years a handful threads had been started showing an "Order of the Black Eagle", the highest order of chivalry in the Kingdom of Prussia.

Even rarer is the statute booklet which was handed over to all awardees.

My copy is an original from 1848 with all 29 pages present, printed by "Rudolph Decker", the Royal Prussian compositor.
It has approx. US Standard Letter size.

Perhaps one of the "Order of the Black Eagle" collectors here has another copy for comparison.

    I hope you like it.

    Regards, Matthias

          Greetings Matthias,

For comparison, I have an 1881 edition of these Order of the Black Eagle statutes. It is virtually identical to what you show and describe; with of course, 1881 replacing 1848.

          Regards,

          Wild Card

            Very nice, thanks for showing.
Is this the book which was sold a couple of years ago at German auction house "Kube"?

            Regards, Matthias

No, my book came from a Thies auction (ex. George Seymour coll.) about ten years ago. It goes to the award of the Order of the Black Eagle to general Viktor von Lignitz (1841-1913) on 12 September 1902.
