    Hi,

    looks as studenticum, possibly from Teschen in Silesia (Cieszyn/Tesin) at the Olsa river (formerly Austro-Hungarian Empire, today in Poland & Czech Republic)

        Could it be schlarrferia( Pardon the spelling.)? They also like the owl motif and Greek or Latin words mixed with local place names. Just a thought.

            Hi,

            no, it is not Schlaraffia, because Athen had no Schlaraffia Reych.

            It should be from the "Burschenschaft Silesia Olsa-Athen" in Teschen (Cieszyn).
            A students' fraternity (see Post 2 from Tomasz).

              Wow. Where did you access the list of schlarafia clubs? I don't collect them, but I find some of their badges to be nicely designed.

                Hi stevenn,

                that is really OT here. But it is correct, there are thousands of nice badges and decorations from the more than 400 Schlaraffen Reyche.
