    1902 German Litho Regimental Stein

I picked this up at a flea market for 75.00 and thought it was an awesome find. She had it priced at 145.00 and told me I could have it for half price. Of course I did my homework on it and found out it was the real thing. You can feel the handpainted areas on the stein, the buttons, the stripes down the pants, the jewels on the crown. It looks like it says, "Kgl. Inft. Lieb Rgt. Untoffz. Julius Springer, 8 Komp.Munchen 1900-02. Tell me how I did....

Thank you. Here is one inside and a couple more of the outside. If anybody could tell me more about this, that would be great.

I'd say you did real well. I was paying that price for regimental steins back in the 1970s and I thought the price was good then.

Your stein is from the elite infantry unit of the Bavarian army, so in my estimation, it is worth more than the average Bavarian infantry type.

Thanks chip for letting me know what you think of my purchase!! I couldn't believe she let it go for that price. I feel pretty luck and it will be a good item to display with my WW1 items.
