Pour Le Merite

I just saw the movie "Pour Le Merite". If you haven't, I'm not surprised. It's an interesting 1930's pro-Nazi movie which follows the lives and adventures of several pilots during the great war, the problems they face returning home, and how the rise of the Nazi's improves their fortunes and futures. The movie ends with a glowing outlook for a Nazi Germany with a hint that "The score will be settled in the future".

From a historic perspective, it's an interesting propaganda movie. Has anyone else seen it? If so, what are your thoughts?

The movie is in German with English subtitles. A couple scenes have English with German subtitles .
