I would like to ask for help in determining the maker of this cross.
On the reverse is punc "800" and on the back of the needle is letter "V".

        Regards
        Jarek

          Well, I clarification about I mean ...

I have Assmann's cross EK2-1914 signed "A" with the same frame (what this EK1) and with very similar core.
I did not want to be too suggest and that is why I was hoping that someone will confirm that on my EK1 is not the letter "V" but "A", and that it is a cross EK1 Assmann's production ...

            Jarek,

Imperials are a lot different than -39.
Most, but not all of them were supplied with parts from subsuppliers, which means that many makers used different parts, that were also used by many others. So labeling a maker on imperial crosses is not always done just like that.

Even if it can be done in many cases, where makers used distinguishing parts or just marked them.

However I believe yours is a unmarked KAG.

The mark under the pin is a quality controll mark, not a makers mark.

That's why I needed an expert opinion.
              You explained my doubts
              Thanks

I think KAG is a good possibility. The reverse hardware certainly resembles
that used on marked KAG crosses and KAG did use this core in one of there
                variations.
