1914 EK2 marked HB. Interesting core.

Here's a pickup from yesterday's small local show in NJ.

Marked HB -- itself a very rare mark to find.

But the core is even more interesting.

Can anyone show another one?

Saw one HB yesterday with this core when browsing the auctions. I think it was ebay. It had silver marked clip attached to the ring. But the cross itself was not in very good condition, so I passed on it. Very nice core, reminds KMST one.

I've never seen a crown like this one either. Great patina on the frame btw.

Thanks guys. Yes, I am still surprised by the variety of design with 1914 EKs. After all these years, a core I don't remember seeing before.

I had the exact same thought, but of course on close comparison it is a different core. I'm sure you saw that also.
