    A couple of odd ducks...

    Hey,
I have a couple of odd ones here.
The first one is a medal on a dark blue ribbon.
The front says Treue Dienste bei der Fahne.
The back has the Roman numerals XII.
    What is this thing??
    Any value?

    Thanx,
    Tim

One more. There is nothing on the rim.

At first, I thought that this one was a coin that someone had affixed a pin to.
After a close look, I have revised my opinion.
It does appear to be a shooting award.
The front says WILHELM II KOENIG VON PREUSSEN and in very small letters at the 6 o'clock position is E. WEIGAND SC
The reverse has the quite DER BESTEN SCHUTZEN

I will presume that the front says Wilhelm the 2nd, the Prussian King and that the back says The Best Shooter.
Anything else to know about it? There is nothing on the rim.

      Thanx,
      Tim

        Hi,

the first one is from Prussia, long service medal, model awarded 1913-1920, for soldiers and NCO, 2nd class after 12 years.

The second one you have answered yourself: a shooting prize from era of Emperor Wilhlem II (with private constructed pin-set)

        Greetings
        Tomasz
