            Cross is a CD type.

Thanks bro, not generic then, totally missed that despite just took pics of a CD. Carl Dillenius probably provided crosses for others then.

Reverse matches my CD 800 but not the obverse, guess CD had multiple cores then.

                    Hi,

I am just looking to the book of Frank Wernitz. As I good see, both sides of the core match to Type I, used by Carl Dillenius. No other maker is mentioned as using this core type.

What about "W. Kluge & Co." or "Klein" in Hanau?

                      Kind regards,

                      Peter

Agreed, Peter. I was thinking Klein in Hanau as well as they have used a K in a circle on other things.

Klein is possible. Kluge has used simple "K", without circle, and without serifes.
