Württemberg Jugendwehr

One of my pickers brought this strange armband in today. It's the first of this type that I've seen so I thought that I would share.

württembergische Jugendwehr were founded in 1914 as a youth paramilitary organization to provide service on the homefront. The armband continued to be worn after 1918 when the youth group served as an auxilliary unit in the Freikorps.
