    its not as rare as you think ,,,

    seen plenty around of these ,,,,

    I would say there wanted by variation collectors who collect KMST..

    what about the front picture ?

    dos it have a KMST core ?

      I have an Iron Cross 1st Class 1914 with the same, hinged, safety-catch, vaulted, but without any marks.

        I agree with Kay, it is not so rare as there are usually these aviable on regular basis. But just as an example emailed AWS is rare, I have only seen so far two in collections.
        However it is valuable as it it very sought after and certanly not easy to find!
