would it be possible to see a close up on each of those hinges? To me they all look different than the ones on Rons wound badges. Similar yes but they don´t seem to have the "unique" hump on the rounded top of the hinge ot the same angled cut plate above the hinge
Sorry Hans, the badges are stored away and these are the best picts I have. Unfortunately they werent taken to highlight the hinge or any specific feature in great detail but rather just to show the hardware

Perhaps this regular size Marine VWA will attract some additional attention

One thing that bothers me with Rons badges and that are the catches. That particular design is nothing i am familiar with.

Regarding Peters Marine WB i can say that i have seen that type with the type of hardware been sold by dealers as "museum" pieces. I have no clue where that information originates from though. They look too well done to me but then again i always feel like in a mine field with the Marine badges

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

For interested parties check out Weitze's site, the 27mm version WB now seems to pop up in all different shapes and forms.

          cheers
