                          Wonder why so many helmets are missing their liners

                            It's roughly 100 years old.
                            The liners were a bit flimsy. The leather pouches often tore leaving just the leather liner band.
                            Or when stored poorly the leather Perhaps just disintegrated or was pulled out.
                            Who knows for sure.

                              There is an arm sticking out of it. Is the arm original to the helmet or a replacement???
