'Fr' EK1 Cores

I have 2 Fr marked EK1's and noticed that the cores are different. Can you show your examples to compare?

As far as I can see both are original but the oin and hinge is also different but again original to the cross.

I would say a match to the one on the right. Just goes to show that makers could have had more than one core through-out their production lifetime.

Richard, just a quick confirmation - both crosses are "Fr" right? Not "Fr" and "FR"? Different makers imo.

Attached are an "FR" on the left and an "Fr" on the right. Note that the "Fr" has a different core to both of yours!

I double checked...damn they are different! One is Fr the other FR. The marks are so small and tarnished it's really hard to make out even with a loupe.
