Got me some General shoulder board

to be precise,,
WW 1 Bavarian Major general shoulder boards .
after I bought them seller would not give me the name of the general...as the family would not have the name revealed.

but ...he sold also his medal bar and I have a picture ..
its a WW1 general of the royal first Bavarian infantry brigade

there only 3 possible .

so far i identified more or les ,,not sure... its a not a very logic bar the way I identified it

its 9 place bar
first :

Yep ,,its perfectly possible and did happen ,,

heres a picture of a bavarian general wearing such shoulder boards

I contacted the seller on the Estand ,but he did so far not responded fore a week now ..


did a litle search on general pictures ,,,this guy was not the only one ,,the Prussians occasionally to have such non matching braid boards

the fact that

we have two shoulder boards with the same patina on the board silver work and gold work ,,on top and underneath ,

two slightly different shoulder board buttons with exact the same patina on top as underneath.

and braid the same direction instead of left and right braid,,

makes these highly believable ,,,

sure ,,,so far unknown ,,,therefor hopefully informative fore this community
