Is it an original insignia from Austrian Sturmtrupp ?

These were only made in zink. They are very detailed as you can see from this one.

and a dramatic contrast to faked one!
Is the inner part/background of the jaw normaly solid and broken on this specimen, or is it supposed to be open and the grates are not properly removed in this case?

Correct. The pins are the weak point on these. To find one with the pin intact is exceedingly rare.
