IMO, the cross is not worth the cost of the paper that
      the COA is written on.

Atleast we can now add Jörg Nimmergut to crooked dealer list for future reference.

        Best Regards,

The certificate may be fake (IMO). Here it's sad.

A Nimmergut COA has always been useful as asswipe. Not good for anything else, in fact, I can't recall an original piece ever posted on WAF with a Nimmergut COA.

                    Hello:

Who is to say that this is the cross that actually went with the COA??
The COA of course could easily be forged.

                    Best regards,

10 years ago or so, there was a whole rash of bogus crosses with
                      Nimmergut COAs.

                        harsh words Jeff ,,,,,

have not seen you contribute much in imperial so far ?,,,, first time ? ,,

so far ,,if it comes to Iron crosses COA
I seen a lot of good COA's of DN ,,about Iron crosses.
also BAD ones,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but not as much as any other dealer around at the time .
and not more as any modern dealer today .....

second ,,the concept of dealers COA's is often misunderstood ,,,, so I can see in you're comment .

                        regards kay

Hi Kay, not lost. I don't post here because I am not much of an Imperial collector but I am always interested about the 1813 crosses and read all the threads. Am I wrong about Nimmergut? Does he actually have some knowledge of Imperial pieces? I can tell you every time I see a fake with one of his COAs it is a third reich piece.

hey Jeff ,,About nimmergut ,,I hear that he started as a knowledgeable expert with good COA's ,,

only as the big money came in ,,things did go bad .

about Detlev ,,I gave you my opinion ,,

But keep in mind ,,the concept of a dealers COA is not about actual truth .

                            regards kay
