Rove,

Your sword is Austro-Hungarian. I cannot find a specific match but it appears to be a private purchase variation of the Model 1837 Infantry Officer sabre. The elongated P guard with a langet is a mark of this style as is the swept hilt. The scabbard is typical Austro-Hungarian for a variety of swords.
