    EK II to identify

    Hi Guys,

    can anybody roughly identify these crosses regarding 'MM'

    There were not so many makers when talking about 1813 and 1870 EKs.
    Regardless the originality, based on above piecture the 1870 EKs seem to be type A made by Wagner. The 1813 cross at 12 o'clock in the photo shows feature of Godet made pieces with wide frame, however hard to tell without front view.

    I strongly recommend you to post some detailed photos in order to see if they are originals or not, especiall the one on non-combat ribbon.

          concerning 1813 crosses there could be around 7/8 jeweler be involved .
          2 known .

          1870 4 makers known for sure ... plausible more involved,,,,, yet the unknown still to be found.

          looking at the picture I see 1813 /1830 peace and a few A type 1870's ,,
          indeed closeups needed .

            Am I correct in saying that in the book "The Iron Cross 1813-1870-1914 " by Dr. Framk Wernitz 12 are mentioned.
