    New EK1 questions. :)

    Hello all!
Just got this EK1 for Christmas! Was wondering if anyone can help me out with the maker. Also is it a WW2 made cross? Thanks!!

Looks to be a cast cross from the paint wicking into the groves of the ribbing. Can you post a side picture of the crosses edges?

Hopefully someone with more experience with this style cross will
chime in but for me, I have very little faith in this style.

My own opinion is that while there are good examples of this style,
there are lots of fakes out there and I can not tell them apart.
I absolutely avoid "Large crown, closed 4" crosses.---
----but that's just me being paranoid

          Hi Robbie,

this is the one I personally believe in.

          see here:
          http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=628966

it is not cast, it is stamped from thin sheet.

          Best regards,
          Michel

Thanks Greg and Michel for your response!! It is a very curious cross indeed. Can Anyone else ahead some light on it?
