Translation Request

I purchased this leather cigar case that is obviously a 50th anniversary gift. Inside was a calling card for Herzogin Max Emanuel in Bayern. I cannot read the handwriting but it appears that Max received the case as a gift.

I have a couple of questions...

a. Would someone translate the writing for me?

b. Whose monogram is on the case? It is obviously for a royal, owing to the crown, but I haven't had any luck attaching the monogram to a name.

I believe the monogram is of Prince Adalbert Alfons of Bavaria.

I agree, the monogram certainly looks like that of Adalbert Alfons.

It would appear to be a gift from Max to Adalbert.

One last question!

Any ideas what the 50th anniversary might be? It is not a wedding, based on the dates surrounding Adalbert. I wonder if it might be a date in honour of a King or something like that?
