1870 Iron Cross bought in Germany

A USA collector bought this in Germany in the early 1970's. It has no maker's marks.

    It's a good, original 1870.
I have some doubts about the ribbon but the cross is a good one.

BTW-(not having a makers mark on your 1870 is a good thing)

A nice clear picture of the ribbon flattened out would show if the ribbon is an original, newer, or repro ribbon

            doubs about the ribbon ?

to sad no one can be more specific about what it is they doubt ,,,

            doubt because ?

            the ribbon is a 1900 produced ribbon on a early 1870 ?
or a late 1870 cross with a early ribbon ?
            or a ek 1870 with a 1914 ribbon ?
            or a 1870 with a 1920's produced ribbon ?
            or a 1870 with a 1930's ribbon ?
            or a 1945 ?
            or a 1957 ?
            0r a 1970 ribbon ?

            maybe even worse
a roter adler orden ribbon put on a ek 1870 ?

I have no doubt, I was trying to be nice. For me, it is a modern fake.
A good modern fake but still a fake.

              Can I proof it?------No

The same style ribbon is on this cross as well.
Bought from the same dealer ?
