14 Ulan waffenrock

I am considering buying a 14 Ulan officers uniform. The color and cut look right and is identified as the 14th Ulan. I am concern about the shoulder strapes. Do they look right? There seems to be a flighting insignia on the shoulder straps. Is this correct. Thanks for the help.

Hi Paul, My experience in the past few years has been to observe several uniforms "upgraded" with air service devices. I would not be too keen on this tunic because of the air service devices on a pre-war Ulan tunic. While not impossible, it is unlikely IMO. Most chaps at any show would walk on by this item. Hope this is of some use.

On the other hand, it does look like a nice quality example of the Ulanka. If the price is right, it still might be worth picking up. Have you had the chance to examine the boards? I agree that the propellors are most likely added.
