    Welcome your thoughts on this, no maker marks, many thanks, Paul

    PS the blade does not fit snuggly and wobbles in the scabbard

      Fairly early made the reason being during the end of the war they stop using walnut for the grips.

            Hi, what makes you that sure, this particular Armeedolch is made by ERN ?

            This is one of the most common Armeedolche, made during the Great War
            and it is a "standard" pattern one manufactured by several makers, showing, (more, or, less, distinct), differences.
            For example: F.A. Nippel, ERN, Gebr. Dittmar, Böker, Jetter & Scheerer, (Aesculapwerke), Eduard Wüsthof, (Dreizackwerke), Demag, Engelswerk, Seilheimer, Josef Feist, Leupold, ...

            I dont think, this particular Armeedolch is made by ERN.

            Best regards,
            R.

            @Paul
            Is there still the spring clip inside the sheath, that "holds" the bayonet tight ?
