    SOS medal bar

This is my find of SOS. . I am intrigued by the Turkish naval medal. Any help in identifying the medal is appreciated. I was told it was a life saving medal but I have not been able to confirm that.

With this combination of several EK2 equivalents and the Turkish medal is it possible to ID the individual?

To me it looks quite similar to newly put together bars but I might be wrong. Is there an extra ribbon in the middle (red one) so a medal is actually missing?

I do not believe that there is enough to go on to make an id.

Appears to be a naval award. See the lifesaver?

That's not for lifesaving but a Turkish navy donation medal, some says it's given to the people who made donations to Turkish fleet others say it's awarded to persons who served in navy, either ways I'm not sure if it has been awarded to foreign citizens. Experts have to comment on that...
There are two medals missing, the one on red ribbon at the 5th position, and the one suppose to take place where the navy donation medal sits. It's visible in the photo a green ribbon covered by donation medal ribbon, that one could well be the Turkish lifesaving medal though.

Thanks for all replies. The 5th place ribbon is a big question as it is not folded properly for a medal and also the color of the ribbon doesn't correspond to a EK2 equivalent.

The Turkish medal and its ribbon are attached over another ribbon, perhaps added at a later date. All in all a couple big questions.

The pin, catch and thick brown thread used to tie the medals down is very much like that used by the Austrian faker.....though this is a totally new combination for him using Imperial decorations, and what look like genuine ribbons, possibly from one, if not two good medal bars!!

My gut feeling is that this medal bar is original. I'm not an expert on these but have a few in my collection. I would post questions on these sites as well.
