Cross is unmarked, so for me hard to say, if this is Hansen or Koch & Bergfeld. Changes nothing on the fact, that I am absolutely happy with this beauty.

that is a nice cross. I think you are right and it matches the marked Koch & Bergfeld cross.

The weight is quite surprising for pinback: 20,8 grams.

Michel, if I understand your post correctly, pinbacks of this core/frame type were made only by Koch & Bergfeld?

Did they cast convex cores or did they use stamped cores and then bend them into the convex shape? I can't see them bending cast cores as the arms of the core would snap like a twig

I saw it and noticed it ,,just forgotten to react on it ..

well at the time I was collecting these I would have gone wild fore it ...

its a wonderful find ,,,what can I say ,,

a Hansen with hooks,,,,,,,,, how good can it get ..
