    Hello WAF Family

    Here my one and only WW1 dated Urkunde for the Black Wound Badge.

    Hope i can see some more from other colections.



    Mine was dated "19. Oktbr. 1918"

        Hi,

        I wasn't going to post on this thread until I saw the helmet and wreath on Stepdales wound doc, its the same--- but the finished articles are very different. My document lacks an award date too.

        I thought you may be interested in a variant.

                Here is my only one I have had about 40 years. Awarded in Romania and signed by GFM von Mackensen, dated 1918. Sorry for the picture quality. Alan

                  Here are two documents to the same soldier in Minnenwerfer Battalion XII, from 1918 Geft, Josef Porzelt
                  First his wound certificate dated 29. Auguat 1918

                  And a EKII awarded 16.April 1918

                    This is my own Urkunde.

                    Interesting to me, for having been awarded to an officer of the H.R. "König Humbert von Italien".

                    The signature, in "Kopierstift" is from Major v. Linsingen.
