      Original A-Type.

I've seen it as well, it's dirt cheap but- will you get happy with the condition?

Not always okay to be egoists or jealous

I'm glad that you correctly identify this piece.

          What is this terminology: "B II / A1" ?

          I would call this EK2 a Type A.
          Best regards,

You are right, I just used the classification that you come across in the text "The Iron Cross 1813-1870-1914 (Frank Wernitz)"

well so far his book is costing the equal of a EK1 .
so his classification will have a hard time to settle in around here ..

most common man around here use the term a or b type core ....

maybe you should do to ..

              regards monty

                Ah, thanks.

I haven't fully digested his classification system, and also I find it extremely flawed and confusing; he seems to have just gone through a few major collections and randomly assigned numbers and codes to every cross.

Not trying to diminish his work -- it's a major accomplishment (especially Vol. I) -- but, like Kay, I very seriously doubt his system will be adopted. But we'll see.
                Best regards,
