    Godet 1870 prinzen complete

caught me a godet prinzen wide frame ( by mistake,,)

And was pleasantly surprised to see that the ribbon was original and in original length to ...

25 oak's very nicely soldered to it and frosting left overs on it .
34 mm by 33.3 mm it made a rare and complete impression .

still don't know if it gone stays in my collection as I am no fan of prinzen.

and somehow still keep on being not a fan of ,,

but hey,,,, hope you like it ...

    regards monty

That's quite a nice setup you have there, Kay...even if you're not really a Prinzen fan. Congrats!

                Best,

                Alex

Lovely cross!!! You can believe me, because I have similar one, although without those beautiful oakleaves.

Yes indeed, this is a very nice set. And now, thanks to Kay, it's been added to my collection. I've been wanting to own an 1870 Prinzen for quite some time now. Thanks Kay!

                      Best,

                      Alex

Hi Carl. Welcome back. I see you're reviving long dead threads along with your own presence here

Interesting story about this Prinzen actually. Shortly after Kay posted this I learned that it came from the same estate as a medalbar sold by the same seller at the same time on eBay. I was about to contact Kay when Alex posted here that he'd bought it. So I contacted Alex instead and asked if he'd sell me this Prinzen, since I had bought the medalbar from eBay about a month before he bought this cross from Kay. So now this lovely Prinzen resides with me, along with the (named) medalbar and ribbonbar of the same soldier, a colonel in the Prussian Army.

So since we're thanking previous owners of this cross here, I'd like to thank Alex for selling this to me a few short weeks after he got it, even though he loved it, to reunite a group. A real gentleman
                              Best regards,
                              Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)
