Prussian Landwehr cap Kokarde for review

Not sure about this kokarde. Would expect a slightly larger badge with holes for sewing?

Officer's type cockades were not sewn on.

So am I to take that this is an officer's korkarde? Seems a little cheap for that, but perhaps.

You just don't see enlisted cockades with that serrated ring. If I had to guess, I would say it is either a private purchase NCO or officer type. There were only two types of issued enlisted cockades for the army, the sewn-on type and the split brad version. Anything else would have to be private purchase.
