I always wondered if this cross was worn as a First Class Iron Cross. I know the answer is impossible to know, but I always found it interesting.

I also had one with the same hole configuration. The guy I bought it of said it came from an old bikers leather jacket.

The posted example came off my ads, back in the 1970s, and ended up in one of the junk boxes. Seems yesterday's junk is collectible today.
